Who we are and what we do.

We are a highly experienced Professional group of legal luminaries with special expertise in Property, Matrimonial, Administrative, Consumer, Passports, Citizenship, Immigration and such other laws relating to Non-Resident Keralites living world over.

Our Associates consisting of High Ranking Revenue, Registration and Police officials (Retired from Government of Kerala Service) having immense practical experience in dealing the real issues, are able to dig out and investigate various issues being faced by Non-Resident Keralites (NRKs) or their relatives anywhere in Kerala. It’s not mandatory for the NRK to come to Kerala for initiating the legal process. NRKs, whether they live in other states in India or in a foreign country can easily communicate with us for free legal advice with a complete evaluation and assessment of documents and facts for each enquiry that we receive.

Who we are?

It is estimated that around 25 lakhs of Keralites live and work outside Kerala spread in all continents of the world. In India, in the metropolitan cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkatta etc. large number of Malayalee communities can be seen. Majority of the expatriate Malayalees live and work are in the Gulf Co-operation Council Countries (GCC) of Saudi Arabia (KSA), United Arab Emirates (UAE), Oman, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain. Sizeable number of Malayalees can also be seen in European Countries, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc. The problems and prospects of the Malayalee community vary according to the city/country where they are located. As experts and experienced in this field we can easily identify their issues in India (Kerala) as well as the country/city where they live and work.

What we are doing?

Our first step is to collect information from the NRKs who approach us for various services. Such information shall be verified and tested for confirming its authenticity. Our experts (retired officials from the Revenue, Registration and Police Departments in Kerala Government Service) will be able to ascertain the accuracy of the issues within the minimum possible time. We shall study and analyze the collected information regarding those issues and present them it in the appropriate forums for speedy redressel for the full satisfaction of our clients, who are the NRKs. The appropriate forums can be Administrative, Judicial and Quasi-Judicial, various Government Departments/Agencies, Courts/Tribunals/Ombudsman etc.

Why Us?

The life and work of the NRKs in the Gulf Countries are totally different from those in the Europe or Americas. Since the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries do not give citizenship to those who work there, the aim of the NRK is to gather maximum wealth, come back and settle down in Kerala and lead a peaceful life. Rehabilitation Programs of those who come back from the Gulf Countries and settle in Kerala plays a major role in the case of those who come back from the Gulf Countries, whereas those who emigrate in the Western countries like Europe, Australia and the United States, the situation is different. Their principal aim is to settle there for permanent Citizenship. Their interests back home are mainly centered about their immovable properties, ancestral or purchased by them etc. and issues surrounding it. Hence the approaches and attitudes of NRKs in the Gulf and in the Western Countries vary. Our greatest asset is the consolidation of expertise as well as vast knowledge in the affairs and diversified needs of the NRKs under one roof. With this in hand, we will be able to device ways to solve the multitude of NRK issues in time bound manner.

Brief Description about us

The NRK Legal Services was established in 2011 by a group of Professionals consisting of legal luminaries, Counsellors (clinical & non clinical), and retired Kerala Government officials in Revenue, Registration and Police Departments. As trouble shooters, we undertake and practice all sorts of litigations Civil & Criminal, Property matters, Tribunals (Motor Accident Claims, Local Self Government, Administrative etc.), Family and Matrimonial cases, Administrative Law, LokAyukta, Ombudsman (Lokayukta, Ombudsman for Local Government Institutions) etc. Since its inception we focus our attention mainly for catering the various Services meant for the Non-Resident Keralites who work in other States in India as well as in the foreign countries.
